I am working in Frankfurt, Germany this May and June. Today I had some time to explore the city.
Frankfurt appears to be a very international and open city due to the large variety of people who come here to work.
One thing I noticed was that the building styles vary greatly within small areas. Frequently old 3-story buildings are standing next to skyscrapers. This may seem odd sometimes, but on the other hand it also creates a more homogeneous city structure compared to other cities which have separate old towns, living areas and business areas.
